Old Sketch - Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz




Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz also known as the "Blue Mosque" located at Shah Alam, a capital state of Selangor. It officially open on 11th March 1988 and almost taken for 12 years in making (1975 - 1987) from the concept until it completed. Design by Malaysia's architect firm, Jurubina Bertiga Arketik, it's a second largest mosque in South East Asia after Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia. It got four minarets at height of 460 feet each and the second tallest minaret in the world after King Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca.
